Your dialect is a rich part of who you are and what you bring to the table. It would be a great sadness to really lose it. BUT, you are probably thinking, I am not always able to communicate effectively in a business setting.

Memories of voice work can be ephemeral.
When I ask actors what they did in their speaking voice classes in school, I get answers like, “Um, we laid on the floor a lot”, “Well, we did a lot of yawning”, or “A proper cup of coffee in a copper coffee pot!”
